What to Expect from The Hypothyroidism Corner
Over the last couple of months I decided to create a business model around my condition. After doing the little exercise I did in my previous newsletter in regards to doing a search for how is hypothyroidism diagnosed I realized that I really needed to keep going at this. I have been additionally encouraged by having three subscribers already after publishing just one newsletter.
I did an assessment of what is working so far for my endeavor. This is what I have found.
I am having success on Instagram so far. I have 22 followers there and my animated posts are getting views. I just launched my IG at the beginning of July.
You can follow me on IG by the way here:
My Anchor podcasts are still getting listeners. I need to record more. I will.
I am writing on Medium and my stuff is getting read. My audience there is different than what I am going for here. However, I have been writing about the issues that have led me to this condition. So the two are still closely related.
My two areas of struggle at the moment are getting more patrons for my Patreon and more folks into my Discord.
The last 36 hours or so I have been thinking about how I will use this space and my publishing schedule. Know myself the way I do I will need to impose a deadline on myself. I’ve become so accustomed to structure from the various organizations I am involved with I can’t function any other way. Especially when it comes to being a professional.
So to my audience that has decided to join me here and the audience I hope through my work and writing here to attract here is what to expect from this space at least for the foreseeable future. I will be doing two posts per week. One post on hypothyroidism and/or general thyroid health. A second post will be a weekly round up of things I am doing around the platforms I am on.
You can expect my first post to drop on Wednesday and my second post to drop on Sunday.
Did I also mention that having a structure also helps with managing your thyroid? This will further help me help those who have hypothyroidism manage this condition.
