I want to say thank you to all of my new subscribers. I had actually started doubting continuing on Substack. Last week showed me that I need to keep going. I went from 7 subscribers to 17 in just a few short days last week.
So to those who have subscribed and have been on my list for awhile now THANK YOU. To those new subscribers THANK YOU for taking a chance on The Hypothyroidism Corner and letting it into your inbox.
You can find The Hypothyroidism Corner elsewhere at:
Of course you can still find it here on Substack.
This past Wednesday I resumed writing here after spending time away from my mission to help those with hypothyroidism. My son was attacked in June and I had to take some time to deal with trying to get to the bottom of why his attacker hasn’t been apprehended. So something had to come off of my plate for just a little bit. Now that I know what is going on with that now it’s time to focus on building this again. So folks know there isn’t much we can do on his attacker until he steps foot in Topeka Ks again. We’re stuck between a rock and a hard spot on that at the moment. So please keep us in your thoughts and ask the universe to align for us so that his attacker is finally caught.
I resumed my series on Risk Factors for Hypothyroidism Wednesday. Here is where we are on the series so far.
Risk Factors for Hypothyroidism Part 1 - A Family History
Risk Factors for Hypothyroidism Pt 2 - Personal History of Thyroid Issues
Risk Factors for Hypothyroidism Pt 3
Family or Personal History of Other Autoimmune or Endocrine Diseases
Stay tuned every Wednesday for more on this series.

Something you might want to look into: things you can take for blood sugar management (in my case, berberine, but also metformin) can interfere with levothyroxine. I’m coming off of a major hypothyroidism spell where I was super tired and lacking in energy for the past couple of months. I’m glad the fix is as easy as increasing my dosage, but it caught me by surprise.
